> **This is the October 2026 edition**, the newest of our monthly rankings. The bearish side of the room grew in October. Of the mentions that took a side, 65% were bullish,
down from 74% in September. Five of the ten names below are new to the table, and the
crowd leaned bearish on four of those five.

## What stood out in October

**Alphabet got most of its month in one week.** It ranked 8th in September with 243 mentions.
In October it drew 895, and 587 of them came from October 26 to 31. On October 28 and 29 alone
the accounts we track posted about it 404 times, with bulls and bears close to even on both days.
The stock fell 13% on the 29th and ended October down 17.9%. Meta, September's No. 1 at 808
mentions, dropped to 6th with 583.

**Five names joined, and the crowd leaned bearish on four of them.** Tesla, CoreWeave, Intel,
Reddit and Amazon replaced AMD, Nike, Broadcom, Dell and Apple, which placed 11th this month with
308 mentions. CoreWeave drew 253 of its 440 mentions in the week of October 12, 116 of them on
October 14, the day it fell 15%. Intel drew 278 of its 397 in the last six days of the month,
and Reddit 282 of its 327. Both stocks fell 29% on October 30. Most of the talk about Reddit
happened on Reddit: 287 of its 327 mentions came from the subreddits we track.

**All six bullish rooms fell, and Tesla rose against its crowd.** Alphabet, NVIDIA, Micron,
Nebius, Meta and Amazon had more bullish mentions than bearish ones, and all six finished
October lower. Of the four rooms that leaned bearish, CoreWeave, Intel and Reddit fell. Tesla
rose 12.7%, the only gain in the table, while SPY fell 0.9%. Two of July's ten rose, then seven
of August's, eight of September's and one of October's. The raw lean has called some months and
missed others. On Tesla, the accounts with a track record split the other way: they were 39
bullish to 9 bearish against a bearish wider room, and they were right.

**Nebius again had the most credible room.** 36% of its mentions came from authors with a track
record, the highest trusted share in the table, as it was in June, July and September. It is one
of the [neocloud stocks](/learn/what-is-a-neocloud), and 587 of its 712 mentions came from X. Its
room was also the most bullish on the list, 79% positive, and the stock fell 34.7%. Its credible
accounts hold a bullish position that has not paid yet. Tesla had the
thinnest trusted share, 15%, and was the month's only gainer.

## How to read this

A mention count is a map of where the news landed. October's map put Alphabet's last week of the month,
CoreWeave's slide and the October 30 drops in Intel and Reddit at the top. The bull and bear
split shows which way the room leaned, and the trusted share shows how much of that room has a
record we can check. None of the three is a forecast on its own. The Quantral score puts them
together, giving more weight to authors with a proven
[track record](/learn/how-a-track-record-is-graded).

## The takeaway

October's table shows where attention went. The read worth keeping sat underneath the counts,
in who was talking: on Tesla, the accounts with a record were bullish against a bearish crowd,
and they were right. The same board runs weekly:
**[the most mentioned stocks this week](/most-mentioned-stocks)**. In the Quantral app, every
stock you follow carries its score and the posts behind it.
