Our strategies.

Rule-based model portfolios built on alternative data, each with its full record against the S&P 500. Compare returns, drawdowns and win rates, then keep an eye on the ones you like in the app.

How a strategy works.

Simple by design: three steps, no finance background required.

Step 1

A rule picks the stocks.

Each strategy follows one clear rule built on public information, like which company bosses are buying their own stock. The rule turns it into a short list. Subscribers see it in the app.

Step 2

The list gets refreshed.

Every so often the rule runs again. Stocks that no longer fit drop off and new ones come in. You see exactly what changed, and how each stock did while it was on the list.

Step 3

Scored against the S&P 500.

See at a glance whether a strategy is beating the market. Every chart runs it against the S&P 500 and marks where the test on past data ends and the real record begins.

Connect Quantral’s MCP server and ask your AI assistant how a strategy has done, what it holds now or what changed in its latest update. The answers come back as the same cards you see in the app.

Strategies come with a Quantral subscription, on the web, iOS, Android and the MCP server. Plans start with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

The signal, without the scroll

From the people already using it.

“Wish I found this sooner”

I check it with my morning coffee instead of doomscrolling X for an hour, and I've stopped taking tips from accounts that turned out to be wrong most of the time. Caught two moves last month I would've completely missed.

“Brilliant”

Definitely worth the subscription. In this day and age things move fast in the markets, tracking sentiment in social spaces is a stronger indicator now more than ever. This app can definitely help give you an edge.

“Very intuitive to use”

The signal strength calculation makes it very easy to quickly find good stocks to keep an eye on. Good to keep as an extra tool on your portfolio.

“Great Tool”

Love scrolling this each morning before markets open and also throughout the day

Questions, answered

Model portfolios in the Quantral app. Each strategy turns alternative data Quantral tracks into a list of stocks that we rebuild on a fixed schedule and measure against the S&P 500. Each strategy's page shows its record and key stats. The current list and what changed are in the app.

No. They are model portfolios that Quantral tracks and reports on: a record of how each list has done. They are not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and they take no account of your goals, timeline or risk tolerance. Do your own research.

Each strategy's current list, the stocks that came in and went out, and the full record come with a Quantral subscription, so you see them in the app on the web, iOS and Android. The strategy pages on this site show the summary, the chart and the key stats.

A backtest runs a strategy over past data to show how its list would have done. We computed it after the fact, so it carries hindsight that a live record does not. Each strategy's live record starts on the date shown on its page. We label the backtest wherever it appears, and each chart marks where the live record starts.

Costs depend on your broker, your account size and how you trade, so no single number fits every reader. A list that changes often means real trading, and commissions, spreads and taxes would bring any real result below the figures shown.

Each strategy has its own schedule, listed on its page under Updates. When a list changes, the app shows the new list, what came in and went out, and the updated record. The pages on this site are a snapshot and do not change with each update.

Yes. Quantral's MCP server includes the strategies, so a connected Claude or ChatGPT can bring a strategy's current list and its latest changes into the chat. It comes with a Quantral subscription and takes a couple of minutes to set up: see quantral.com/mcp.

Strategies are for paid subscribers. You can try Quantral free for 7 days. After the trial it's a paid subscription: $14.99 per month, or $119.99 per year, which is $9.99 a month. Cancel anytime.

Figures as of September 21, 2026. Backtested results are hypothetical: we computed them after the fact over past data, and they do not reflect actual trading. All returns are before trading costs, against SPY with dividends included. Nothing on this page is investment advice, and past results don’t predict future ones.
