Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Quantral: the website at quantral.com, the app at app.quantral.com, our mobile apps, and any account or paid subscription (together, the “Service”). Quantral is operated by Mayako LTD, a private limited company registered in Varna, Bulgaria (registration number 205469135). By creating an account, reserving a spot, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What Quantral is

Quantral aggregates publicly available signals about companies (mentions on social platforms such as X and Reddit, financial news, and public filings) and produces a signal strength score and plain-language explanations per company. The Service is informational. It is currently offered as a limited public beta, and we admit people in batches.

Beta service

Quantral is in active development. Features may change, break, or be removed, scores and data may be incomplete or wrong, and access is granted in batches at our discretion. Reserving a spot does not entitle you to access by any particular date. We may change eligibility, or stop offering the beta, at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You can create an account with an email and password, or through a third-party sign-in provider (Sign in with Apple, or Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Please provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, is used unlawfully, or creates risk for the Service or other users. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, as described under “Cancelling and deleting your account” below.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Access to the app requires an active subscription. New subscriptions include a free trial period, and some users receive promotional codes that grant a set number of free months. Unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, the subscription converts to a paid, automatically renewing subscription at the then-current price, billed each period until you cancel.

Payments are processed by our billing providers, RevenueCat and Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and, for customers in the EU, are inclusive of applicable VAT. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. On mobile, subscriptions purchased through an app store are managed and billed under that store’s rules.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because access begins immediately, by starting your subscription you request that the Service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. This does not affect the free trial, which you can cancel at any time before it converts to a paid subscription.

Refunds

Outside of the rights described above and any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country, payments are generally non-refundable. For purchases made through an app store, the store’s refund policy applies. If you think you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected].

Not financial advice

Quantral is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Our scores, explanations, and any other content are informational only and reflect signals we observe in public sources. They are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. Markets are volatile, signals can be wrong, and past patterns do not predict future outcomes. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a qualified professional before making investment decisions.

Acceptable use

Please use the Service responsibly. Do not scrape or harvest data, attempt to break or probe security, resell or redistribute our content or scores, reverse engineer the app, use the Service to build a competing product, impersonate others, or use the Service unlawfully. We may refuse service, or suspend or remove access, at our discretion, particularly when these terms have been violated.

License to use the app

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Intellectual property

The Quantral name, logo, and the design, text, scores, and code of the Service are ours or our licensors’. You may reference Quantral in normal commentary, but you may not copy, reuse, or redistribute the design, code, or scores without written permission.

Third-party platforms

Sign-in providers (Apple, Google), our billing providers (RevenueCat, Stripe), and the Apple App Store and Google Play each have their own terms that apply to your use of those services. Where you access Quantral through an app store, that store’s standard end-user license terms also apply.

No warranties

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayako LTD and the people who run Quantral will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Cancelling and deleting your account

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you can delete your account from within the app. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the privacy policy, and, where you signed in with Apple, revokes the associated Apple token. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription billed through an app store; cancel that through the store.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. The latest version will always live at this URL with a current “last updated” date. For material changes that affect your subscription, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer resident in another country, the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence continue to apply alongside these terms.
